Field Service Manager – Scotland – Central belt Regions

We are delighted to be inviting applications to apply for the role of Field Service Manager.

The main duties of this role include, but are not limited to:

Managing the Scotland team of 6 (4 engineers and 1 admin)

Oversee day-to-day operations ensuring all aspects are carried out in a timely fashion

Track the daily jobs using the Field Calls, e-mails, Dashboards on our CRM (Salesforce)

Check on the plans and diary arrangements for operational bookings, ensuring efficient and detailed instructions are in place.

Liaison with other department managers to ensure cover for missing staff is in place

Ensure employees remain flexible and understand their responsibilities to respond to new out of hours jobs.

Develop productive, profitable and achievement oriented working environment for employees

Conduct Site Audits.

Mentor your staff and attend escalated Jobs.

Assist in interviewing, recruiting, training, performance evaluation, and promotion and termination activities.

Ensure the Scotland Admin l Department is managed following the requirements of the company’s Accreditations.

Ensure any complaints/non-conformances are escalated/completed effectively.#

Plan and track operational bookings, ensuring efficient and detailed instructions are in place for field operatives, using company systems (field calls, emails and dashboards on Salesforce).

Attend escalated jobs/complaints when required.

Act as onsite manager for major incidents.

Manage Fields staff H&S KPI Dashboard

Be the main point of contact for clients

Ensure all client reports are provided within the agreed KPIs/SLAs

Ensure all organisational processes, policies and goals are completed within the requirements set out, by educating, mentoring and training the operations team.

Examine financial data and use them to improve profitability

Manage budgets and forecasts

The candidate:

With electrical or electronics qualification and experience. It is important that you are a fast learner and are excellent at building strong relations with our client, You will also have good communication and IT Skills, be self motivated and have the ability to read and interpret information and specifications.

You should be aware that due to the nature of our business, whilst this role is predominately Monday-Friday, faults can happen at any time, and there will be the expectation to work additional hours when required. Overtime for this is paid at 1.5x your salary. You will also be expected to become part of the emergency call out rota, covering approximately one week day evening per week and one weekend in 4-5.

Whilst the managerial side of this role will be based from home, there is an expectation that we will open an office in the Central Belt area at some stage in the future, of which you will be involved, so over time, this role may become office based. You will also be required to attend site in the role of Electrician/Electronics Engineer and carry out basic wiring checks and remedials so will be required to travel. A van will be issued to you, along with uniform, PPE, tools, laptop, iPad and mobile phone.

You will be required to spend time at our Coalville and/or Petersfield Office during your training period. Please only apply if you will be willing to do this

Full driving licence is essential.
